Victoria's Pre-School Book

One thing that our family has found helpful is making an individual child's school  book.  We did a lovely  "This is my Prescool"  Book for Victoria last year.  So every time we visited the school in May and June  I took  photos.  Now  I have a great book filled with pictures and stories about  school, her peers, her accomplishments, her routine and the behaviours expected.

We have found that it's never too late to make the book, and it can be used for anything!  We even have an Occupational Therapy  appointment book.  Phillip joined into Victoria's OT program and we  needed a bridging tool... it works great!

Donna Randell is the mother of three children, two of whom have been diagnosed with  Autism Spectrum Disorder.  She is the Co-Owner of Hyperlex.  Victoria, who is hyperlexic, started school in Nova Scotia in September.  Phillip is 2 1/2 and enjoys private pre-school instruction.
